ICE BMX components have quickly made a name for themselves as a no-nonsense BMX racing parts manufacturer. The Hacker X rear hub will meet the demands even of the most demanding riders whilst offering superb value.
Hub Specs
- ICE Tank, and Hacker X hubs.
- 20x100mm front hub spacing, 110x10mm bolt on/15mm thru-bolt rear hub spacing.
- The rear hub is built around the modern 15mm thru-axle standard, and is supplied with a bolt-on adapter kit. Thus, the hub can be run with either spacing standard: 110x10mm bolt-on or 110x15mm thru-axle.
- The front hub is supplied with a 20x114mm front axle.
- Standard MTB 110x20mm non-Boost spacing in the front, 135x10mm bolt-on in the rear.
- 36H spoke hole counts. 6-bolt rotor interface in the rear.
- Traditional HG freehub driver body standard.
- Reliable pawl-style freehub mechanism with a respectable 180 POE number.
Rims
Wheels are offered with a variety of Pro 20″/406mm rim options to suit the intended application, including differing internal widths, and rim materials. See the continually updated rim choice page by clicking the link below to find the right match for your needs.
Spokes & Nipples
The wheels are built with straight-gauge 2.0mm spokes that are paired with brass nipples.
Build
Unless otherwise specified by the component manufacturer, all wheels are built with the following properties:
- Lacing pattern according to the hub specification.
- Thorough stress-relieving process.
- Highest tension approved by the component manufacturer – usually 1200N.
- With a high degree of trueness, and roundness.
The whole build process is made by hand.
Lead Time
All wheels are built to order. Shipping takes place usually within 3-6 working days after the order has been placed.
Once finished, and shipped, the relevant tracking code will be forwarded by email.
